Neal’s Heating & Air Conditioning was founded in LaFayette, Georgia in 2004 by Nathan Neal with a straightforward idea: serve the community that raised you, do the work right, and be the company your neighbors can count on when things go wrong at 2 a.m. More than two decades later, that idea is still the whole business.
What started as one truck and one technician has grown into a family operation with a team of NATE-certified professionals, a real showroom at 814 N. Main St. in downtown LaFayette, and a service territory that spans Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, and Hamilton counties across North Georgia and Southeast Tennessee. We’re an authorized Trane Comfort Specialist, an authorized Navien and Rinnai dealer, and the most-reviewed HVAC contractor in Walker County, with 700+ Google reviews at 4.9 stars.

Nathan Neal
Owner & FounderNathan founded Neal’s Heating & Air in 2004 after years of HVAC experience in North Georgia. A Walker County resident, he made a deliberate choice to build his business in the community he had grown to love rather than pursue work in larger markets. He holds his HVAC contractor’s license, manages the operational side of the business, and is still the first call when a job gets complicated. He uses Trane equipment in his own home and business, the same systems he recommends to customers.
Nikki Neal
Office ManagerNikki keeps the operation running. Scheduling, customer coordination, billing, and follow-up, the things that have to happen flawlessly behind every service call, are Nikki’s domain. She manages those who are the first voice many customers hear when they call the office: accurate arrival windows, callbacks that happen when they’re supposed to, and invoices that match the quote.
Camden Neal
Sales SpecialistCamden joined the family business and handles new system consultations, replacement estimates, and customer relationships on the sales side. He brings honest, no-pressure guidance to homeowners facing the repair-or-replace decision, a conversation that’s better coming from someone who knows the equipment and the local market and isn’t incentivized to push the most expensive option.

Our showroom lets you look at Trane system components, Navien and Rinnai tankless water heaters, and smart thermostat options in person, so the decision you make is an informed one.
We’re also one of the very few places in Walker County where you can see a Fireside Hearth & Patio showroom product in the same building. If you’re thinking about a fireplace insert, gas logs, or an outdoor hearth alongside your HVAC project, we can show you both in the same visit.
